Astragalus Membranaceus is a perrenial in the Fabaceae family that's native to Mongolia, North Korea, and China. Traditionally, Astragalus Root was used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a Qi tonic, and was also often found in classical herbal formulas. The dried Astragalus Root can be decocted in tea, tinctured, or simmered into soups, stews, and broths.
