Summit to Sea hyperbaric chambers are classified as Class II medical devices cleared by the FDA and require a doctor’s prescription. Their chambers stand out as the only chambers on the market to have a failed circuit alarm in case of a power outage, and dual pressure regulated valves for added safety. Summit to Sea is also the only company on the market that offers two models of vertical hyperbaric chambers, for those who prefer to sit upright during treatment sessions rather than lying down.

Frequently Asked Questions

What conditions are your chambers used to treat?
Summit to Sea Hyperbaric Chambers are used to promote overall wellness and support the body's inherent ability to heal itself. Many people use them for athletic recovery, improved energy, better sleep, increased focus and mental clarity, as well as assisting with certain chronic conditions like Neuropathy and Parkinson’s Disease.

What does a typical treatment protocol look like?
We typically recommend using the chamber five days a week, 1-2 hours per day, for one hour at a time. If you’re going to use the chamber multiple times per day, we recommend spacing treatment sessions at least 6 hours apart.

Should I use the chamber with an oxygen concentrator?
You can receive the benefits of hyperbaric therapy with just the chamber alone, although many people choose to add an external oxygen concentrator to increase the body’s absorption of oxygen. Using the chamber by itself produces around 24% pure oxygen, while adding an external oxygen concentrator to the chamber will produce around 40% pure oxygen. If you want to receive even more oxygen, you may add a face mask or cannula to your concentrator and receive upwards of 95% pure oxygen during your session. We offer concentrators, face masks, and cannulas at discounted prices for anyone looking to purchase a hyperbaric chamber bundle - just reach out to our customer support team and they will be happy to assist you.

Should I buy an air cooler for my chamber?
Some people complain about the air inside of the chamber being a little bit warm during their treatment session. An air cooler will bring the temperature down to around 5 degrees below room temperature. We recommend trying the chamber by itself first to assess your comfort level, and adding a cooler later on if you feel it is necessary. We sell hyperbaric air coolers specifically designed for Summit to Sea chambers if you decide to purchase one.

Can I operate the chamber by myself?
While it’s recommended to have another person in the room during your treatment session, Summit to Sea Chambers feature double-sided internal and external zippers that allow you to operate the chamber without the need for any extra help.
